Mission Raceway Park

Basic Info

Sevens Day is an annual celebration of the Mazda rotary engine—and of the RX-7 in particular—which happens every year on or near July 7th (07/07). West Coast Rotary has been hosting Sevens Day meets for nearly a decade now, but this year we're throwing a bigger and better event than ever before.

We're pleased to announce that this year's Sevens Day event will be held at Mission Raceway Park on Sunday, July 16th. In addition to our usual rotary meet/show & shine, we'll be collaborating with VCMC Motorsports Club to allow local rotary owners to participate in a sanctioned autocross event.

Show & Shine

Our show & shine will run from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on the day of the event, and will include a door prize draw and a big group photo of everyone's cars. This part of the event requires no advance registration and is free for all participants.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come out and join us, but parking in the main meet area will be reserved for vehicles that are either A) rotary-powered or B) based on a Mazda rotary chassis. This means your rotary-swapped Beetle is welcome, and your V8-swapped RX-7 is welcome, but your stock Miatas and 240SXs will be asked to park in the adjacent guest parking lot (see map below).

Autocross

Autocross check-ins will begin at 8:00am on the day of the event. All autocross facilitation is being looked after by VCMC Motorsport Club - as part of our collaboration, they'll be reserving several registration slots for rotary-powered vehicles. A participation fee of $75 will be collected by VCMC at your time of registration.

Directions

Mission Raceway Park is located roughly 40 minutes East of Vancouver. Directions to the complex are available via Google Maps. Once you reach the complex, there will be event marshalls who can point you in the right direction to find our meet. See layout information below:

Note the location of the broadcast tower, marked in green. This is the tallest building in the complex, and can be a useful landmark for wayfinding within the facility.

Sponsors

We are endlessly grateful for the sponsors who help make this event happen, many of whom have been with us since the days of doing this event in an empty parking lot. Please give them a visit, and tell them West Coast Rotary sent you!
